I am thrilled with my decision to use Dime's Delightful Destinations and Travel for my first trip using my passport! Mrs. Simpson made my first trip out of the country exhilarating. From the very beginning, I knew I wanted to go somewhere exotic. After planning a trip in full detail, it was canceled because of the pandemic, and do not travel orders. So, I then made the decision to change destinations which included a variety of activities. I was ecstatic about traveling, and soon realized the day before that the destination was to be paid in full, and it was now on the do not travel list due to crime and Covid 19. Mrs. Simpson was patient with me as I tried to figure out where to go next and worked diligently to make my travel plans a reality. She gave me excellent suggestions for alternative places. Within two days, I had a new destination to Aruba with equally exciting activities. Some of the activities were similar to the other locations, and some were not, but the activities were still great. She gave me discounts on prices since I had already paid my deposit for the previous location, and this new location was more expensive. She was able to provide me with a great hotel package with meals included. Mrs. Simpson made sure that I had private transportation to and from the airport as soon as I arrived or was ready to depart. I ended up spending seven days in Aruba doing five activities. It was so great to have a day to relax upon arrival, a day to explore, and one activity on the other days. It was so convenient to have the activities spread out one a day, so it was no rush. When an activity took two or three hours, we still had time to enjoy dinner, shop, and walk the beach. I didn't have much cellular signal there, however, Mrs. Simpson was always in contact via messenger to ensure that I made it to my destination and didn't have any problems while I was there. She was available anytime I had any questions. The places for the activities had a station to check in at my hotel, which made it very easy; however, before I realized the desk was at the hotel, I was having an issue getting in touch with the appropriate personnel in charge of each excursion. Mrs. Simpson got on the phone and made calls to voice on my behalf. I ended up messaging her back and letting her know that the issue was handled professionally and I was pleased. My private Transportation experience was great and very flexible. I was able to move my departure time up to travel back to the airport to ensure that I could make it through customs in time to make my flight.
Everybody in the hotel was lovely and accommodating, from the housekeeper, the greeting staff, the front desk staff, the maintenance people, the waiters at the bar, the waitresses at breakfast, the restaurant, and the pool people. I made friends there, and I am so grateful that I chose Dime's Delightful Destinations and Travel as my independent travel agent for my first trip abroad. I will be using her again in the future. I am already planning my next trip. I am so pleased to say we will be going on trips yearly using Dime's Delightful Destinations.
